In this context, considering the revival in tourism and our constantly updated tourism targets, we can say that this positive trend is also reflected in investments. Antalya, which we consider the tourism capital, once again ranks first in terms of bed capacity. Nevşehir's presence in the top five on this list is a significant detail. Istanbul, another tourism hub and a major tourist destination this year, leads the list in terms of hotel numbers. We observe that the majority of investments in 41 provinces across Turkey are concentrated in the Marmara Region.

 

Alongside these promising figures for the development of our tourism sector, five of the 15 new hotel projects have been canceled, while 10 have been put on hold. Information we've gathered from investor meetings indicates that economic difficulties, particularly price increases, supply disruptions, the impact of these disruptions on prices, and uncertainties, play a significant role in these cancellations or suspension decisions. Information we've received from some investors suggests that investment direction is being shifted, shifting from hotel projects to dormitories, business centers, and similar projects.
